Deputies: Several larceny suspects arrested after search in Cicero neighborhood

CICERO (WSYR-TV) - Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies have arrested several suspects in a larceny case after a search in the Darby Farm Development in Cicero.  

According the Sheriff's Office, deputies were actively searching the Darby Farms subdivision area in the Town of Cicero for several suspects involved in vehicle larcenies.

When deputies arrived in the area of Farrington Road, they found two previously reported stolen vehicles, one of which was occupied by two suspects.

Those suspects were taken into custody and an additional suspect fled on foot.

Deputies were able to locate additional suspects .

Sheriff's AIR 1 helicopter, K9 units, North Syracuse Police and the New York State Police helped in the search. 

We're told a call to look for the suspects came in around 4:51 Wednesday morning.  Deputies had been aware of multiple thefts from unlocked cars in that area.

According to the department's Facebook page, deputies ended the search around 7:30 a.m. and school buses resumed transportation in that area.
