Viewer tip leads to arrest of fugitive on 9 Most Wanted list

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Number 2 on the Onondaga County's 9 Most Wanted list has been taken into custody just minutes after our call-in.

Thanks to tips from viewers like you, the Sheriff's Office was able to take Savoi Marshall-Worthy into custody.

Marshall-Worthy was taken into custody at an apartment on Shonnard Street after a viewer called deputies, saying that they knew she lived there.

Marshall-Worthy was wanted for cashing a forged check at a Syracuse bank, and then trying to do the same in Solvay a short time later.

Marshall-Worthy has no arrest record.

One of the victims of the forgery is a skilled nursing facility. The concern is that she may potentially take advantage of a vulnerable person under her care.
