Detectives arrest man in connection with numerous robberies and burglaries

TOWN OF CLAY (WSYR-TV) - Detectives with the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office have arrested a man accused of committing numerous robberies and two burglaries across Onondaga County.
Deputies say Gary B. Bixler robbed the Gulf Gas and Convenience store on Bear Road in the Town of Clay and at the Sunoco Gas and Convenience Station on Van Buren Road in the Town of Lysander on July 19. 
The Sheriff's Office have charged Bixler with robbery, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon for both robberies. 
Bixler is also accused of committing numerous burglaries in Onondaga County. 
According to witnesses, Bixler is tied to burglaries in the Town of Van Buren, Town of Clay and Town of Onondaga.
Bixler was also charged with grand larceny, petit larceny and criminal mischief. He was arraigned in the Town of Clay and remanded to the Justice Center in lieu of $250,000 cash or bail bond.
