Dewitt woman arrested after threatening victim with a rifle

Dewitt (WSYR-TV) - A Dewitt woman is facing multiple charges after police say she threatened a victim with a rifle.

25-year-old Kendra Jones was arrested after her involvement in a shots fired incident at 407 North Midler Avenue in Dewitt.

Police say Jones shot a .22 rifle into a work van around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday on North Midler Avenue.

Jones was taken into custody and a Ruger .22 rifle was seized from the scene as evidence.

She was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.  She is currently being held on $10,000 cash/$10,000 bond.

The victim was not hurt in the incident.

The investigation is continuing.
