Family offering $5,000 reward to find deadly hit & run driver

GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA (WSYR-TV) - One year later, and there's still no sign of the driver responsible for a hit in run in Pennsylvania which took the life of John Fiore of Clay.

The 56-year-old was killed October 18, 2016 while changing a tire on I-81 south in Greenfield Township, Lackawanna County.

Fiore died from his injuries hours later and his son was hospitalized for three months.

"It's something I'll never want to relive again," said Roxanna Fiore, John's wife of 32 years. "It changed my life 100 percent."

Police believe the driver is a male and the suspected vehicle is a white pickup truck, towing a red car carrier with possibly four vehicles on it.

"A family is suffering and they're just living everyday and don't care," said son-in-law John Sauta.

The family is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone that has information leading to an arrest.

Tips can be made to the Lackawanna County Sheriffs Office at (570) 963-4312.
