Fire burns through East Side home

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A Syracuse family is being helped by the Red Cross after a fire burned through their home.
911 dispatch says Syracuse Fire Department was called to a fire on Sheridan Place just after 11:45pm last night.
Firefighters got to the East Side home within minutes and were able to put out the flames.
Syracuse Police officers also responded, and say no one was hurt in the fire.
The American Red Cross is now helping the family.
