Fulton man suspected in two recent CNY bank robberies

Investigators say surveillance video and witnesses led to the arrest

NORTH SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) - Investigators say surveillance video and witnesses helped them track down their suspect in two bank robberies just a few days apart.

39-year old James Caskey of Fulton has been arrested in connection with a robbery at the NBT Bank on Route 11 in North Syracuse.

Deputies say he was wearing a ski mask when he demanded money from a teller on the morning of December 3.

Police in Camillus say Caskey did the same thing on November 30 at the Chase Bank on West Genesee Street.

Now he's facing robbery charges in both cases.

Caskey was sent to jail on $100,000 cash bail or bond for the NBT Bank robbery and $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond for the Chase Bank robbery.
