Impact school threat calls can have on law enforcement

The response from law enforcement to possible school threats around Central New York has been full force, whether those threats were credible or not.

Onondaga County Sheriff Gene Conway said although these calls max out resources, it’s exactly what law enforcement wants. 

He says police agencies are trained and prepared for these types of calls and consistently preach “if you see or hear something, say something.”
