Ithaca police search for suspects in Friday night robbery

ITHACA (WSYR-TV) - Ithaca police are searching for four suspects after a robbery in the city Friday night.

The robbery happened around 11 p.m. near Schuyler Place and East Buffalo St. when a male victim was reportedly shoved to the ground, punched and kicked. 

The victim gave one of the males about $85 dollars in cash and the suspects left heading south on Schuyler Place toward E State Street.

Police believe the suspects are all black males between 5'11" and 6'2" tall, one wearing a red hoodie style sweatshirt, one wearing a white hoodie style sweatshirt, one wearing a dark color hoodie style sweatshirt, and the fourth an unknown color hoodie style sweatshirt.

All were reported to be wearing jeans.

The victim has minor injuries and is being treated at a local medical center.
