Jordan-Elbridge Finishes New Turf Over the Summer

JORDAN-ELBRIDGE (WSYR-TV) - The Jordan-Eldbridge School District completed a number of renovations over the summer which included a brand new stadium.

It was part of a $9.7-million capital improvement project approved by voters in 2016.

The turf was a much needed upgrade from the prior grass field says Superintendent James Froio.

"A grass field just can't take that wear and tear, this field can," said Froio. "All of our sports can benefit from it and play in the stadium, and all of our gym classes can come out here."

The money was also used for several other upgrades that include two new playgrounds, new windows at the elementary school and new roofs at the junior high and high school.
