Kerrin Conklin officially fired from CNY SPCA

Interim board president informed her via a phone call

MATTYDALE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Kerrin Conklin has been officially terminated as Executive Director of the CNY SPCA.

She received a phone call from the interim Board President Wednesday night  while sitting in her car, informing her she had been fired. She will receive an official letter on Thursday.

Conkin now says she intends to file a lawsuit against the organization.

Board member Nicholas Pirro also resigned at Wednesday night's board meeting.

Board member Jack Yoffa says that Conklin was fired last Thursday but she left a meeting and that is why she did not know she had been fired.

A new interim executive director will be named Thursday morning at a news conference.
