Lake snow advisories and warnings east of Lake Ontario

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Lake effect snow will impact travel north of Syracuse.  Here are the latest advisories.

Jefferson-Lewis-
Including the cities of Watertown and Lowville
444 AM EST Thu Dec 7 2017

Impactful snow will fall well north of Syracuse, with the heaviest snow falling just southeast of Watertown.

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow occurring. Plan on difficult
  travel conditions, including during the morning commute.
  Additional snow accumulations of 7 to 13 inches are expected in
  the most persistent lake snows.

* WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
  visibility at times.
Lake snow advisory is in effect for Oswego County for nuisance type snow.

* WHAT...Lake effect snow occurring. Plan on difficult travel
  conditions. Snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected in
  the most persistent lake snows.

* WHERE...Northern Oswego county.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
  times.
