Large fire engulfs old auto shop in Fulton; two firefighters injured

FULTON (WSYR-TV) - Multiple crews are working to put out a massive fire at an old automotive shop in Fulton, about half a mile south from the old Nestle Plant.

It's called Prime Auto Shop, but commonly known as Laqua’s 481.

According to the Fulton police chief, crews were called to 807 South First Street just before 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

Officials say two firefighters suffered minor injuries, one had chest pains, the other was cut by falling glass.  They were both treated at the scene.

Assistant Chief Shane Laws with the Fulton Fire Department tells NewsChannel 9 the structure has been there for about 75 years and houses three businesses.
