Lockheed Martin holds duct tape contest among co-workers

TOWN OF SALINA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Lockheed Martin is kicked off Engineering Week with a unique competition at its location along Electronics Parkway.

Teams used duct tape to hold one of their co-workers against the wall, and whoever stayed on the longest was the winner.

Lockheed Martin says it's a chance to have to and show appreciation for its engineering staff and show young people how fun the profession can be.

“Seeing the really big need for engineers in the workforce we really try to get out there and show the local community, everything from K to high school graduates and university students, all the fun work that engineering brings so we can kind of encourage and grow that future pipeline,” said engineering manager Matt Wilkowski.

A team of mechanical engineers at Lockheed Martin calling themselves "Meck Dynasty 2.0" won this year's competition.
