New auto country club to open in Onondaga County

Wide-variety of activities

Lafayette, NY (WSYR-TV) - If you have a need for speed, a new type of country club focusing on auto racing might be a dream come true!

The Pineview Run Auto and Country Club is one of a dozen of its kind in the country, focusing on motor sport and outdoor activities. The driving course on the 122 acre site will be 1.1 miles long.

"These are all activities that can reconnect families, their friends and organizations back to the nature and the outdoors, I think it's a real missing element into today's society," said Todd Milton, President.
At the club you'll be able to race cars, shoot guns, ride horses, and so much more. If you don't have your own, the club will be able to help you out.
"When you have four different seasons really well defined, people haven't made those investments, so therefore, by belonging to a club when you can come and enjoy these things year round, you don't even have to make that investment to own it," said Milton.
The club hopes to have everything done so they can begin paving in early September, they will be offering winter activities throughout the end of the year, then in spring of 2018, the full range of activities will be available.
The club will only accept 35 members this year, and fewer than 50 next year.
