SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A strong storm is on track to slam the East Coast causing airline cancellations to stack up.
As of Wednesday morning, airlines have cancelled thousands of flights ahead of the storm making it the second time in less than a week that weather has bogged down air travel.
At Syracuse's Hancock International Airport, about a dozen arrivals and departures on Wednesday to and from New York City airports and Philadelphia have already been cancelled.
The Syracuse Airport tweeted the following Wednesday morning: "If you have a flight scheduled for today, please make sure to check with your airline for updates before heading to the airport."
