Oneida County: Man crashes car with four passengers, flees the scene

ONEIDA COUNTY (WSYR-TV) - Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for a Utica man who crashed a car with four other people inside and then left the scene in the Town of Verona. It happened at 12:08 a.m.

Investigators say Windwarrior Gomez, 24, of Utica, was driving a black 2013 Hyundai Elantra when he failed to turn right and hit a ditch at the intersection of Brouillette Road and Hanover Road.

Of the four other passengers in the car, one was taken to saint Elizabeth hospital for injuries to his face.

Deputies say Gomez along with a woman seated in the front of the car left the scene before police arrived.
