CICERO (WSYR-TV) - On Thursday, Feb. 22, the first Chick-fil-A in Upstate New York will open for business in Cicero.
After several months of planning and construction, employees were allowed inside for the first time Tuesday for training.
Kelsy Natoli moved back to Central New York just to work for the new restaurant.
The Oswego native moved away when her fiance got a job in Baltimore, when she went to work for Chick-fil-A for the first time. She's excited for everybody to find out why the restaurant is so special to her.
Natoli says, "Ever since I started working for a Chick-fil-A, people have been asking my parents, 'when are they bringing one here?' So now I can finally say, we're here, we're opening one next week."
