Meeting starts at 6 p.m. Thursday at ESM High School

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Tonight is the first chance to formally have your opinions known on the proposed Onondaga County Shared Services Plan.

A public hearing on the first draft of the property tax savings plan will be held starting at 6 p.m. at ESM High School on Fremont Road in East Syracuse.

It lists about 150 potential ideas for sharing services.

State law requires County Executive Joanie Mahoney to prepare the plan with a panel consisting of the mayors of the City of Syracuse and each village within the county and the supervisors of each town.
