SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - On Monday, March 20, Onondaga County Sheriff Gene Conway will be announcing an initiative to create an animal abuser registry for the county.
The registry will be one of less than a dozen created in other NYS counties that takes steps to better prevent animals from falling into the hands of those who abuse or otherwise mistreat them.
County legislators, the executive director of the CNYSPCA and other animal shelters will be joining the Sheriff.
