Packed churches across central New York for Christmas Eve masses

The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception was standing room only

Syracuse, NY (WSYR-TV) - A packed house on Christmas Eve as the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception was full of central New York families celebrating a traditional Catholic Christmas.
The mass bringing both young and old together, all celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Several children took part in a live reenactment of the manager scene, complete with angels, shepherds and, of course, Mary and Joseph.
If you aren't able to make it to church this Christmas, NewsChannel 9 will also be broadcasting a live mass at 6 am on Christmas morning.
