Panera Bread introduces home delivery to Central New York

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Panera Bread is rolling out home delivery at hundreds of its restaurants across the United States, including six in Central New York.

With a menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches, it’s easy to transport, just like pizza, CEO Ron Shaich tells Business Insider.

Two Syracuse chains will deliver -- one in Destiny USA and the other on Erie Boulevard -- as well as the Panera locations in Auburn, Fayetteville, Cicero and Ithaca.

The delivery can be ordered from areas within an eight-minute drive time of a participating Panera location.

Most cafes will deliver between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., seven days a week.

There will be a $3 delivery free in the majority of markets.

You can place an order online.
