SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) - As we head into the summer driving season, New York State Police are reminding us to keep that seat belt buckled.
The yearly “Click It or Ticket” campaign is underway -- which cracks down on drivers not belted in.
”Taking that few seconds to buckle up really makes a difference,” said Onondaga County Sheriff Gene Conway.
Right now roughly 92 percent of drivers in NYS comply with the law.
The campaign runs through June 4.
