Scaramucci resigns as White House communications director after 10 days

WSYR-TV - Anthony Scaramucci, the newly appointed White House communications director, has resigned after 10 days on the job.

Scaramucci took the position on July 21.

In Scaramucci’s time as communications director, White House press secretary Sean Spicer and Chief of Staff Reince Priebus have both left their positions.

A day before Priebus’ resignation, Scaramucci called up a reporter with The New Yorker, delivering a scathing, profanity-laced critique of the former Chief of Staff.

Scaramucci’s resignation was reportedly requested by the new Chief of Staff John Kelly.
