Schroeppel woman admits to role in covering up gruesome Cicero murder

CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A Schroeppel woman has pleaded guilty to her involvement in the chainsaw murder of a Cicero man this past December.

Authorities say Corey Slattery strangled and stabbed Aikeem Hudgins to death before dismembering and burning him

48-year-old Connie Ingoldby pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution, a felony, on Friday.

Ingoldby admitted to helping Slattery clean up the murder scene and driving him to bury the body. She also helped him obtain a chainsaw and shovel, and helped dispose of the body.

Ingoldby is facing one to three years in prison as part of a plea deal that involves her testifying against Slattery.
