Several fire departments called to kitchen fire in Manlius

MANLIUS (WSYR-TV) - Several fire departments were called to a home in the village of Manlius Sunday night.

Crews arrived at Westfield Drive just after 9:30 p.m.

Everyone in the home appeared to have gotten out safely. Chief Brad Pinsky said there were no injuries.

Firefighters believe the fire started in the kitchen and most of the damage was contained to that room. But, there is smoke damage throughout the house.

About five fire companies responded to the fire and the chief says the flames were out within minutes.
