Snowfall more than three feet in parts of CNY

Heaviest snow south and east of Syracuse.


The Nor’easter has dropped significant snowfall across the whole area Tuesday. And now Wednesday on the back edge of the storm, all of central New York is seeing light to moderate and heavy bursts of snow at times from lake effect.

An additional 4-8” of new snowfall is expected by the end of the day Wednesday before the snow tapers early Thursday morning.
