Son of suspect in Craig Rideout murder arrested on child pornography charges

FAIRPORT, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - A Fairport man, who is the son of a current murder suspect, has been arrested by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office on charges of possessing child pornography.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Theodore J. Tucci, 19, on the charge of possession of a sexual performance by a child.

Theodore Tucci is the son of Paul J. Tucci, who was recently indicted for the murder of Craig Rideout.

Also indicted for the murder of Craig Rideout is his estranged wife and Paul’s girlfriend, Laura Rideout, and Craig's sons, Colin and Alexander.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says it was conducting the murder investigation of Craig Rideout when evidence of the possession of a sexual performance by a child was obtained.

It is alleged that Theodore Tucci possessed multiple images and videos of sexual conduct by a child less than sixteen years of age.

Theodore Tucci currently resides in Durham, North Carolina. Tucci had returned to visit family when he was arrested.

Tucci is currently being arraigned in Perinton Town Court.
