SU students plan charity golf event to benefit Vera House

Tourney set for May 8 at Drumlins Country Club

SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) - For the second year in a row, students in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics at Syracuse University are planning a charity golf tournament to benefit Vera House, Inc.

Last year’s class chose the non-profit as the beneficiary and it is continuing again this year. The organization provides services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse.

Registration is still open for a day of golfing and a dinner set for Monday, May 8, at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse.

The tournament will be held at the East Course and will be a shotgun start.
