SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - In the race for Mayor of Syracuse, there will now officially be four candidates on the ballot.
Independent candidate Ben Walsh says voters will see his name this fall.
On Wednesday afternoon, Walsh announced that he has the exclusive endorsement of the Reform Party of New York State.
"I really enjoyed learning more about the Reform Party. It's a new party with new leadership really focused, appropriately, on reform, both in terms of the political process and the electoral process. Making politics more accessible to people that aren't necessarily invested in one of the two major parties, or aligned with specific special interest,” Walsh says of the endorsement.
Walsh is the only Independent candidate running for Mayor of Syracuse.
