SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are investigating a double shooting along East Colvin Street near Garfield Avenue on the city's south side.
Officers were called around 9:21 p.m. on Monday night for reports of shots being fired.
While officers were investigating, they were advised that two victims had arrived at Upstate University Hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.
The victims stated that they were traveling northbound on Route 81 near Brighton Avenue when the incident occurred.
The victims continued to drive on the highway and drove straight to the hospital. At this time, police say it appears as if the shots fired call is the same incident as where the victims were shot.
The injuries to the victims do not appear to be life threatening.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
