The Conversation with Jazz Fest headliner Todd Rundgren

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - After hitting up 28 cities since April, Todd Rundgren will make Syracuse his last stop on his tour when he headlines the 35th Syracuse Jazz Fest.

Rundgren says he doesn’t have a problem going to a new city almost every night.

“I don't seem to have any problem with it have the kinds of lifestyle that perhaps a lot of musicians have when they're not playing. I live on the island of Kauai and I relax real hard when I'm at home. I like to unwind when it's time to unwind and for me, I'm in nature all the time when I'm not on the road so for me it's either in a big hotel or I'm kinda looking at the sky and the trees and the ocean, and that keeps me renewed I guess,” he said.

Rundgren chats with Carrie Lazarus about his evolution as an artist since his 1972 album, “Something, Anything.”
