Thousands still without power in Central New York

OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The Oswego County 911 Center began receiving several reports of trees and wires down throughout the county at about 3:30 a.m. Monday.

As the wind picked up in the central and southeastern parts of the county, nearly 22,155 National Grid customers in Central New York were without power as of 6:30 p.m.

According to a 911 dispatcher, Albion, Orwell, Constantia, Richland, Boylston and Schroeppel are some of the areas with the most reports of wires and trees down.

Nearly 8,000 are without power in Oswego County. 

No injuries have been reported, but there are reports of property damage, according to the dispatcher.

Around 5,449 are without power in Oneida County and less than 1,024 are without power in Onondaga County.
