Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter says,  "It's so exciting, there's so much to offer here you have the Boxing Hall, it's the only one in the world its the Boxing Hall of Fame so this is really exciting we'll have some great events that weekend but also throughout the year so its a great relationship"

"This partnership allows more awareness of the Boxing Hall of Fame to the nationally televised TV telecast that Turning Stone puts on mentioning the Boxing Hall of Fame so growth comes along with recognition and this partnership allows that to happen,"  Says Ed Brophy, Executive Director of the International Boxing Hall of Fame

They say the region will benefit from this new partnership with an expected increase in tourism to the area.

"So I'm excited for not just our region for the tourism and benefits that way but for the boxing community, so it's very important to the boxing community this partnership is really going to deliver some more excitement and another level of credibility," Brophy tells NewsChannel 9.

Halbritter adds, "I think this year is going to be exciting because with this relationship we're going to be doing some things together but I think the future, there's more things we can do.  As Ed mentioned and others we're only limited by our imagination and tourism is a great component I think for this region for its future."
