Two people hospitalized for smoke inhalation after fire

PHOENIX (WSYR-TV) - The chief of the Phoenix Fire Department says two people were sent to the hospital after a fire early Friday morning. 

According to the chief, the two were going to get checked out after breathing in smoke. 

Firefighters were called to 2985 West Bridge Street in Phoenix, where flames were showing through the roof. 

Investigators say the fire started on the main floor of the house and spread to the second floor. 

Three people were home when the fire started, but everyone was out of the home by the time fire crews arrived. 

The fire was out about two hours later. 

The home is split up into three apartments. All three are destroyed.
