Auburn Police seeking 2 area fugitives wanted on drug charges

AUBURN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The U.S. Marshal Task Force and investigators with the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force are looking for two women who are wanted on various felony drug charges.

28-year-old fugitive Lorie Wentworth may be in company of another wanted suspect, 27-year-old Brittany Smith, according to Auburn Police.

Wentworth was profiled on Auburn Police’s Facebook page under Warrant of the Week, where she appears to have commented on her own warrant post, saying, “Fact of the matter I'm outta there and have no plan on return, I didn't leave there with a warrant.. I'm not going back for one catch me whenever you can..."

Wentworth is 5’05 and weighs 160 pounds. Her last known address was 38 Burt Avenue in Auburn, but she may be with her mother in North Carolina. Other reports indicate she has connections to Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas.

She is wanted on:

  • 2 Counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance
  • 2 Counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Fourth-degree conspiracy

Smith’s last known address was 182 VanAnden Street in Auburn.

She is 5’05 and weighs 145 pounds.

  • 2 counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance
  • 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance (B Felony)
  • Criminal possession of a controlled substance (C Felony)
