SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The US Small Business Administration in Syracuse is offering an intensive executive-level training program to take your business to the next level.
Emerging Leaders is free and offers qualified business owners powerful benefits, including innovative strategies to grow, acquire financing, access new markets and leverage networking.
Through the program, participants develop a 3-year Strategic Growth Action Plan for their company's unique goals.
Recess Coffee is one of the most recent graduates of the program.
The coffee maker was at the 10-year mark when owner Jesse Daino took the class.
"But we got to a point where I felt we were kind plateauing and to get to the next level we really needed some professional guidance and this class definitely gave it to us," Daino tells NewsChannel 9.
Co-Founder Adam Williams says, "We met the bookkeeper we work with now through the class who has absolutely changed our perspective on our finances."
They say thanks to the class, Recess was able to accomplish three critical growth goals in less than a year.
The class is free but size is limited; one owner per business. The deadline for submitting an application is March 23.
