Westhill wins Class B New York State Championship

Warriors have won 4 state titles in past 8 seasons

CLASS B FINALS

For the third time in the past four years -- and fourth time since 2010 -- the Westhill boy's basketball team are the Class B Champions of New York.

The Warriors beat Canton 80-62 in the title game, capping off a 25-1 season.

The #1 ranked team in the state entering the final, Westhill jumped out to a 12-point first quarter lead, then outscored Canton 18-9 in the second quarter.

Kameren Jackson led the charge with 22 points, while Sean Dadey and Owen Matukas each scored 15.

The Warriors were also state champs in 2010, 2014, and 2015.
