Wish comes true for Oneida boy with muscular dystrophy

GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Jordan Barahmeh has always dreamed of becoming a police officer, and on Monday, that wish came true.

Jordan, a 13-year-old boy from Oneida, suffers from muscular dystrophy. He spent all day at the Fair with law enforcement.

Fittingly, on Law Enforcement Day, the Oneida Police Department surprised him with news that he would be joining their forces on Tuesday as an officer.

He will be picked up in uniform on Tuesday, where he will spend an entire day with officers.
