SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) - A 22-year-old woman is facing multiple charges after Syracuse Police arrested her in connection to a stabbing happening Friday night during a large fight on the Westside.
Police say they were called to Upstate University Hospital around 9:40 p.m. on Friday for a stabbing investigation.
The victim reported that she had been involved in a large fight that night in the 700-block of Park Avenue.
During the fight, police say the victim sustained a laceration to her hip. The victim is expected to recover.
During the investigation, video footage of the incident was located and police say they were able to identify the suspect as Sierra Radford, 22, Syracuse.
Officers located Radford at her residence and she was taken into custody without incident.
Radford was arrested and charged with assault in the 2nd degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.
Radford was lodged at the Onondaga County Justice Center pending her arraignment.
