NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A New Hartford woman suffered non-life threatening injuries after police say she may have been walking home while intoxicated.
New Hartford Police say the woman, 58-year-old Martha Tschantre, was walking home on Route 5 on Friday when she was hit by a vehicle headed west bound.
During the investigation, police determined Tschantre was allegedly drunk during the time of the crash, and that alcohol may have played a part in the crash.
Members from the New Hartford Fire Department and Edwards ambulance responded. Tschantre was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
