Walls are going up on the corner of East 1st and East Utica Street

OSWEGO (WSYR-TV) - Walls are going up fast for a new building just as you enter the City of Oswego from I-481.

The corner of East 1st Street and East Utica Street used to be the home of a Tim Horton's location until the chain closed several locations across Central New York.

Mayor Billy Barlow tells NewsChannel 9, the site will soon be home to a new Five Star Urgent Care Facility and Aspen Dental.

The two companies will share the space, each on one side of the new building.

As for other improvements in Oswego, a meeting is being held Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

The public is welcome to attend and hear a few projects being funded by Governor Cuomo's $10 million dollar downtown revitalization money.
