Local Pearl Harbor survivors return to honor the 75th anniversary

WSYR-TV - They survived what was the most horrific attack on America at the time— the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

Now, in remembrance of the 75th anniversary of the event, local survivors have paid a visit to Pearl Harbor.

Among them are Edward Stone of Syracuse and Syracuse-area native and World War II veteran Larry Parry, whose photo of him breaking down in tears at the grave of a fallen comrade has gone viral.
