12 people left homeless after three fires

The Red Cross is helping victims after three fires on Friday.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) Three fires on Friday have left 12 people homeless.

The American Red Cross of Central New York is providing assistance to five adults and seven children in three different counties.

Volunteers with the Disaster Action Team responded to fires in Syracuse, Hannibal and Eaton on Friday. 

The first fire broke out 11 am on Friday at 284 Durbin Road in Hannibal, Oswego County. Two adults and three kids were displaced.

Another house fire at 4108 Crow Hill Road in Eaton, Madison County at 1 pm left two adults and their two children homeless.

And a mother and her two children are getting help after flames ripped through their home at 441 Gifford Street in Syracuse Friday afternoon.

The three families are receiving food, lodging and other assistance from the Red Cross.
