Cops identify Seneca County shooting victim

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man who died as a result of gunshot wounds early Sunday morning in the town of Waterloo.

Waterloo (WSYR-TV) – The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man who died as a result of gunshot wounds early Sunday morning in the town of Waterloo.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, they responded to a shots-fired complaint on Hecker Road around 2:48 a.m.

When they arrived they found 61-year-old William Kenny suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead after being transported to Geneva General Hospital.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, they are following a number of leads in the case with the help of State Police.
