Cuomo: Time Warner facility will create 95 new jobs in DeWitt

DeWitt (WSYR-TV) – A new Time Warner facility in DeWitt is poised to create 95 new jobs in Central New York, according to the Governor’s office.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a release on Thursday indicating that Time Warner Cable is developing the facility at the Hechinger Plaza on Erie Boulevard, the site of a now-closed Price Chopper store.

The Governor noted, however, that the project is contingent on a lease agreement with the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency.

Time Warner employs approximately 10,000 people across New York.

171 already existing jobs in the Syracuse area will be consolidated in the $7.3 million Business Services Center, in addition to the new positions.
