Deputies seize over 100 envelopes of heroin in Oswego County

The Oswego County Drug Task Force has arrested a mother and son in Granby after they say over 100 envelopes of heroin and cash were seized from their home.

Granby (WSYR-TV) - The Oswego County Drug Task Force has arrested a mother and son in Granby after they say over 100 envelopes of heroin and cash were seized from their home.

The task force, made up of multiple law enforcement agencies, says it served a warrant at 123 Senior Ave. in Granby on Monday, Nov. 25 when the heroin and cash were discovered.

21-year-old Jimmy Rolon and 39-year-old Veronica Lebron were taken into custody by officials and both charged with:
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a class B felony
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, a class A misdemeanor
Rolon and Lebron were arraigned in Granby Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility.

Rolon is being held in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 secure bail bond and Lebron is being held in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 secure bail bond.

They are both scheduled to appear in the Granby Town Court on Monday, Dec. 2.
