Manlius Police have charged a man taken into custody on Route 5 with menacing after he allegedly displayed a gun at a home on Mill Street in Fayetteville.

Manlius (WSYR-TV) – Manlius Police have charged a man taken into custody on Route 5 with menacing after he allegedly displayed a gun at a home on Mill Street in Fayetteville.

Police took Javier Loaiza, 39, of Poughkeepsie, into custody after the incident on Wednesday.

They confirmed that they had charged Loaiza with four counts of menacing in the second degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeanors, on Friday.

He was arraigned and taken to the Justice Center in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

Police also arrested 29-year-old Nicole Cummings of Liverpool and charged her with making a false written statement, a misdemeanor.

Cummings is being detained for violating her parole.
