Maryland man arrested on child sex charges in Waterloo

A Maryland man is facing multiple child sexual abuse charges in Seneca County where deputies say he engaged in sexual activity with two young girls on multiple occasions.
Waterloo (WSYR-TV) – A Maryland man is facing multiple child sexual abuse charges in Seneca County where deputies say he engaged in sexual activity with two young girls on multiple occasions.

John Wilson, 43, of Waldorf, Md., has been charged with two counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree, two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators say Wilson engaged in “numerous acts” involving sexual contact with two girls under the age of 9 during the spring and summer.

He was arraigned in Town of Waterloo Court and taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.

The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the matter.
