Chittenango (WSYR-TV) - Stars of The History Channel show We're the Fugowis led local motorcyclists on a "Ride for Vets" in Chittenango on Sunday.

The fundraiser benefits Clear Path for Veterans, which offers massages, free lunches, and a service dog program for veterans, among other things.

Kickstands were up at 11:30 as hundreds of bikes roared down Salts Springs Road to embark on a 45-mile ride.

Bikers returned to Clear Path for Veterans to close out the day with food and music. A chicken barbeque was prepared by the Marine Corps League. The Caroline Kelly Blues Band and Dusty Pascale with Danny Welch provided the tunes.

"We are very excited that The Fugawis Motorcycle Club would take time out of their busy schedule to support Clear Path and our local Veterans. It really means a lot to us," said Earl N. Fontenot, Director of Operations for Clear Path for Veterans.
